Sabrina Vaz - Owner Ms. Vaz has been practicing Pilates for over 20 years. She began her formal Pilates training as a dancer and choreographer while studying Laban's Principals of Movement at The Laban Centre in London England. Upon return to the states, Ms. Vas studied with Mary Bowen. Mary was one of Joseph Pilates former students. At Ms. Bowen's suggestion she went through a certification with the Physicalmind Institute of Santa Fe New Mexico. Shortly after she went through certification courses with Stott Pilates.
Consequently, her quest for further knowledge lead her to the world’s foremost authorities on Joseph Pilates, his protégé, Romana Kryzanowska and Sean Gallagher. Today, She teaches in the tradition of Mr. Pilates New York City Studio which she learned from the source.
In addition, Sabrina is a certified Gyrotonic® instructor and Gyrokinesis® instructor and pre-trainer. She studies under Julio Horvath, the creator and has worked with him in Austria, Germany, Rome and Miami. She brings her extensive movement background to all of her work. Also, a Thai Bodywork practitioner. A session with Sabrina will leave you feeling invigorated with an over-all sense of well-being.

Katherine ChaffeeKatherine is a certified Gyrotonic® Instructor and was introduced to Gyrotonic® through her involvement with Sabrina Vaz & Traditional Pilates of Cape Cod. She feels it is an exercise system that connects a natural flow to the physical structure while promoting integration of the mind and body opening the client to self-understanding. Ms. Chaffee graduated from Elizabethtown College, Magnum Cum Laude, and is a certified Reiki Master.
Katherine has been committed to heath and wellness for the past thirty years, She was a long distance runner who ran numerous marathons including two Boston Marathons. She is currently working on her certification in Pilates and has always focused on the mind-body connection in her work Incorporating nutrition, meditation & visualization. She feels that thoughts, words and actions impact heath and wholeness.
Michael Gish is a certified Personal Trainer, Gyrotonic Instructor & Coach. Michael helps his clients, ranging in age from Teen to Senior Citizen, achieve their fitness goals and to increase their quality of life through flexibility and strength exercise. Michael stresses the importance of understanding that nutrition is just as important as exercise when it comes to healthy living. He incorporates techniques from Gyrotonic and Pilates when designing an individual fitness program for each client based upon their personal needs, abilities and goals. He believes it is important to understand the "mind-body" connection to health and fitness.
Michael graduated from ESU with a degree in Health and Physical Education. He has coached High School Football, Wrestling and Track; also working with the athletes in weight training and personal fitness. Michael has completed the Gyrotonic Certification Program. He has been involved in fitness and training for more than 45 years.
Michael works through Traditional Pilates of Cape Cod teaching Pilates Mat Classes as well as offering private Pilates and Gyrotonic sessions. Michael also offers Individual in home instruction.
In Addition, The Studio offer's Private Sessions with apprentices in the TAP Pilates certification program.
